The main activities are concentrated along the following lines:

Take measures aimed at reducing the impacts of population migration to Fort-Dauphin. (anti- STI/HIV/AIDS measures for employees and the community, mitigating measures on the inflation and migration and setting up monitoring and surveillance mechanism, reinforce urban security, support improved hygiene and health infrastructure)
4. Promoting dynamic regional economic development

5. Monitoring and evaluation of project impacts in the community
Drawing up EMPs (Environmental Management Plan) and developing a system of indicators and monitoring mechanism, by carrying out studies in order to have a source of socio-economic data in each project intervention zone (Ilafitsinanana, Mandena, Petriky and Sainte Luce). Such data will enable monitoring of the project’s effects and setting up suitable mitigating measures.
