President’s message

A generous land… land of progress… land of projects… land of future… that is how we see Fort Dauphin and the Anosy region currently but even more for the future in accordance with the vision set out by the region in its Regional Development Outline. That is the vision we would like to share with you through this exhibition held by Rio Tinto and its partners in Antananarivo. This is an opportunity for you to know more about the company, its activities and the multiple social and environmental challenges the company and its partners are strongly committed to take up in the region. It is also an excellent opportunity to know the opinion of the different actors involved on this vision and to see how they could contribute to make it a reality. “Rio Tinto as a driving force with knock-on effects but not the only “vehicle” for the development of the Fort Dauphin region.
